Start button
Resume button
Pretest button (if applicable)
Next step & Submit buttons
Case tabs

Playing a case is easy!

Just click the green button with a white arrow known as the "Play" button when on the Assignments tab. This will take you to the Case Details Page where you will get details on the patient and instructions about your case. When you are ready to begin, click the "Start" button to enter the case.

Once you Start a case, you can resume it at any time before the due date.

If your case has a Pretest button,

you will need to complete the pretest before the Start button will become active for you to start playing the case.

Interview Progress button, if present

If your institution has opted for you to have the Interview Progress button, it will appear at the bottom of the History page. Review the number of times your institution has made this button available to you. When you click it, it will provide the number of questions and categories of questions that the expert requires you to ask, but you have not asked yet.

The Next Step button will appear if you are in LEARNING MODE. This will then provide you with clinical feedback. Once you click this button, your answers for that section will be "locked" and you will not be able to enter anymore information to be counted toward your score.
If you are in TEST MODE, the button will read Submit. Once you click this, the section is "locked" and you will not be able to enter any additional information that will be recorded toward your score.

Case tabs

You play a case in a chronological order of the tabs across the top from left to right. Any tab in italics cannot be accessed until the previous tab has been completed, whereby "locking" the answers for the previous section. The Patient Record is available for you to enter information until you arrive on the Summary page where your case will have been fully submitted.
